Ein Duplikat der Dhauli-Edikte (ebenfalls in der Datenbank vorhanden) befindet sich an einem Felsen in Jaugada .

Jaugada ist ein zerfallenes Fort im Berhampur tāluka des Ganjām Distrikts in Madras, ca. 18 Meilen nordwestlich von Ganjām, am nördlichen Ufer des Flusses Rṣikulya.

Der beschriebene Fels "is situated in what appears to have once been an extensive but now deserted town, surrounded by the debris of a lofty wall." (Ed. S. xiv)

"The Jaugada inscriptions are written on three different tablets on the vertical face of the rock. The first tablet contained the first five edicts, but about one-half has been utterly lost by the peeling away of the rock. The second tablet comprised the next five edicts, namely, 6 to 10, to which was added the 14th or closing edict of the other versions. About one-third of this tablet has been lost by the peeling away of the rock. The third tablet contained the two separate or additional edicts which are found at Dhauli." (ibid.)

Diese zwei separaten Edikte sind durch Linien eingerahmt; das erste befindet sich unterhalb des zweiten sep. Ediktes.
