Material: Felswand.

Datierung: nach Paranavitana (lii f.) um 210 - 200 v. Ch., als einer der frühesten Inschriften in Ceylon, die einem Herrscher zugeordnet werden kann (Ed.: S.lii ff.). Weil daran Zweifel angebracht sind, ist hier -90 bis 90 n.Chr. angesetzt.

[Gamaṇi]-Uti-D[e]va[na]pi[ya]-maharajhaha jha[ya] Śumana-deviya leṇe agata-anagata ca[tu-diśa-śagaśa]

Übersetzung: "The cave of Sumanadevī, wife of the great king, Friend of the Gods, Gāmaṇī Uttiya, [is given] to the Saṅgha of the four quarters, present and absent."
