Zahlzeichen 4 und 5: Pl. 3, Zeile 27: Ed. p. 144: "... we have forms of the decimal figures 2,4, and 5; but the 4 and the 5 are of a decidedly exceptional type, and, but for the explanation of them in words, would most naturally have been read as 6 and 8."

Datierung: Jahr 254 einer unbestimmten Ära.

Möglicherweise ist diese Datierung auf die Gaṅgazählung zu beziehen, was 852 n. Ch. entspräche. Paläografischen Vergleichen folgend, ist eine solche Datierung nicht auszuschließen. Wenigstens eine weitere Inschrift des Königs ist bekannt und datiert in das Jahr 310 (einer unbestimmten Ära) - siehe Tripathy, S.: Inscriptions of Orissa, Vol. 1, Delhi, 1997: S. 137n - [allerdings weist dies auf eine ungewöhnlich lange Regierungsperiode Devendravarmans und kann daher bislang nur als hypothetische Datierung gelten.

3 Kupfertafeln, die von einem Ring zusammen gehalten werden, der versiegelt ist. Die Sprache ist bis auf ein Wort in Zeile 27 (Prakrit: samvacchara) Sanskrit.

Die Inschrift wurde von Devendravarman , von den Gaṅgas von Kaliṇga (Orissa), in Kaliṅganagara in Auftrag gegeben. Es ist eine śivaitische Schenkungsurkunde, in welcher ein namentlich nicht näher bestimmtes Dorf im Dāvadāmadavam viṣaya an (den Tempel von) Śiva-Dharmeśvara überschrieben wird.
