Parumaka-V[e]śamaṇa-puta-Baraṇiya leṇe Devaha ca catu-diśa-śagaśa

Übersetzung: "The cave of Baraṇi , son of the chief Veśamaṇa , and of Deva [is given] to the Saṅgha of the four quarters" (Ed.: Skt. Bharaṇi - fem., obwohl als männl. Name verwendet-; Skt. Vaiśravaṇa)

Eine jüngere Inschrift (No. 1107 - Abt. spätere Brahmi/Mihintale) wurde über einen Großteil der Inschrift geschrieben, die ursprünglichen Zeichen sind dadurch teilweise unleserlich.
