Belaturu Inscription of the time of Rajendradeva; Śaka-samvat 979

Diese Inschrift befindet sich auf einem Stein, östlich des Dorfes Beýatūru im Heggaḍadevankoṭe tāluka , Mysore Distrikt; sie ist in Kannaḍa verfaßt.

Der erste Vers der Inschrift enthält die Datierung, sie dürfte nach Kielhorn mit dem 27. Okt. 1057 n. Ch. korrespondieren [Ed. S. 214].

Zwei Śūdra-Familien werden in der Inschrift genannt: die Avaca Familie von Nugunāḍu und die Kuuvanda Familie von Pervayal in Navalenāḍu; daneben werden die Ortschaften Beýatūru und Talekāḍu inschriftlich genannt.

Malla war der Autor der Inschrift.
